Paul File is a diligent, solutions-focused, attorney specializing in all aspects of litigation from inception through and including jury trials. Paul prides himself on being a zealous advocate while working with a calm demeanor in the face of difficulties. He has dedicated his career to guiding clients through the complicated litigation process in New Jersey and New York involving complex commercial litigation, real estate, landlord/tenant, personal injury and insurance defense.
In recognition of his strong litigation skills, Paul was appointed litigation attorney for the Borough of Sayreville, New Jersey where he defended township against numerous lawsuits. In addition to working for top North Jersey law firms, Paul was a successful partner at Kravis, File & Wurgaft, P.C. for several years, where he further honed his skills in a quest to best serve his clients.
Paul earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 2010 where he served as Lead Counsel for the Moot Court & National Trial Team; had the privilege of interning for the Honorable Judge Paul W. Armstrong, J.S.C. and for the Honorable Michael Kaplan of the United States Bankruptcy Circuit; serve as Vice President of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity; was an elected member of the Judicial Board of the Syracuse Law Senate; and served as a member of the Syracuse University Bankruptcy Bro Bono Organization. Paul earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and English, respectively, in 2007 from the University of Connecticut.
Paul is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.
