We believe that it is critical for all clients to have a comprehensive plan in place for their estate issues.  The simplest components involve a Will, Living Will and Power of Attorney.  The Living Will and Power of Attorney determine who can make medical and non-medical decisions respectively on a person’s behalf if they are alive but unable to do so.  The Living Will and Power of Attorney become void immediately upon a person’s passing and the only document that controls is the Will (and any trusts that may have been established.  We handle all elements of estate planning in New Jersey and New York, including the review of any current estate planning documents that need modification, drafting of current Wills, Trusts, Powers of attorney, and Living Wills/Advanced Health Care Directives.  We also service probate, estate administration and estate litigation needs.  We will develop appropriate business succession planning documents in conjunction with estate planning.
